We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Specialist with a strong focus on systems and business processes. This role will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of business systems and optimizing business workflows. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of business process management, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Process Optimization:
    • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement streamlined processes.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for internal business processes.
    • Track performance metrics and identify areas for continuous process improvement.
  2. Systems Support and Administration:
    • Provide day-to-day support for business systems, including troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
    • Ensure proper integration between different business systems and tools to improve workflow efficiency.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal users of business systems, offering technical support and training.
    • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new business software or tools.
  3. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Assist in the management and maintenance of business data across systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
    • Generate reports to monitor system performance, process efficiency, and identify key business insights.
    • Assist teams in the creation of custom reports and dashboards to track business KPIs.
  4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Provide feedback and suggestions for system enhancements based on user experiences and operational challenges.
    • Support the creation and maintenance of system documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and training materials.
  5. Training and Support:
    • Conduct training sessions for team members on new processes, systems updates, and best practices.
    • Provide ongoing user support for business systems and workflows, ensuring teams are equipped to work efficiently.
  6. Project Support:
    • Assist in managing and coordinating projects related to process improvement or system upgrades.
    • Track project milestones and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
    • Ensure that all process improvements or system updates are executed in line with company goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Business Process Management) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in business process management, system administration, or business support roles.
    • Experience with business process modeling, workflow automation, and systems integration is highly preferred.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of business systems (ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software) and how they relate to business processes.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
